Peninsula Europe: The High Ground, Bringing Forth A New State of Mind -
How does this work engage and draw upon communities, the local and the particular? How are people to relate to Greenhouse Europe, it’s so big and impersonal?
Since the ETF, David Haley organised a six-venue tour of the UK for the Harrisons to develop Greenhouse Britain, a project that asks, ‘as the seas rise gracefully, how will we withdraw gracefully?’ This climate change project subsequently received funding from DEFRA to initiate the artwork in England and Harrison Studio & Assocs. UK are persuing funding to role-out the work in Scotland and Wales.
